Thank you to Disney+ and Shopstyle for sponsoring this post.
From the moment Clementine was born, sharing the world with her has been the biggest thrill. I’ve always found joy in talking about the things I love with others—it’s a big part of my job, after all—but with my own daughter, the experience is nothing short of magical. I grew up enchanted by Disney movies, so when Disney+ launched, I promptly signed our family up for a subscription. Ever since then, Thomas and I have loved revisiting our favorite Disney classics, trading memories of when we first saw each film, and exploring the many movies and shows that we haven’t seen yet. I can hardly wait until we can share our original Disney favorites (mine has always been the 1991 Beauty and the Beast!) with Clementine and create brand new memories as a family, enjoying these magical stories alongside her!
With Disney+, we won’t have to scramble to stock up on DVDs or downloads when we want to have a family movie night; we’ll have hundreds of options from classics, new releases, TV series, and exclusive originals from Disney right at our fingertips. While I’m partial to the princesses collection, Disney+ is also home to Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, and more. One of my favorite features so far has been the opportunity to search for movies by decade. Venturing back into the 1920s and 1930s to see Disney’s creativity and innovation paving the way for the future is as fascinating and inspiring as it is entertaining. My love for classic movies is well-documented, and being able to explore more of them is only deepening that appreciation.
Even if you don’t have children, Disney+ makes a delightful addition to any night spent relaxing in front of the TV. Along with the vast selection from Disney’s archives, they offer many exclusive shows and movies, including some festive holiday options! We always tend to watch a little extra TV this time of year, since the chance to cuddle up with hot chocolate and a movie is too relaxing to resist. As you’re lounging at home this holiday season, give Disney+ a whirl with a seven-day free trial…and let me know what favorite movies and shows you find that we should add to our must-watch list!
