Oak is wearing British Made Luxury Children’s Coats & Accessories brand Britannical.
It’s that most wonderful time of the year again, Christmas. Not one for the hustle and bustle of Christmas shopping, we decided to take a trip down memory lane at the atmospheric Victorian Town, Blists Hill, to be among fine craftsmanship and nostalgia, something both Oak and I thoroughly enjoyed. It was great to relive my childhood memories and create new ones with Oak.
Honouring our British heritage in true style, Oak wears award-winning luxury children’s outwear brand Britannical who defines fine tailoring with plenty of exquisite Christmas cheer. I instantly fell in love with this alluring brand a few winters ago with its luxurious warm amalgamation of premium wool fibers and timeless handwoven finesse which emanate the great British charm.
Owner Rachel Hamard delightful journey founding Britannical was inspired by her family heritage as London coat makers dating right back to the Victorian era.
With a true passion for preserving Britain’s rich textile production heritage for the next generation, Britannical encapsulates fine British craftsmanship with deep ethical values by actively sourcing sustainable materials throughout the British Isles from mills dating back over 200 years and commit to ethical British manufacturing production here in a London workshop.
With Christmas at our doorstep, Oak is already feeling festive in his charming coat from this unique childrenswear brand. Looking very much a graceful gentleman wearing his finely tailored raglan sleeved Clerkenwell bridge coat in a classic monochrome British lambswool tweed.
A statement piece in its own right by using the finest British lambswool tweed, celebrating the artisanship and the integrity that has been woven from a mill with over 230 years of heritage. The Clerkenwell features intricate button detail on the sleeves, belt detail at the back and is double-lined in sustainable poly satin for extra warmth.
After a whimsical slow day pondering around the Victorian village and posting an important letter to Father Christmas, making a peg soldier for a gift and stocking up on plenty Christmas cakes and old fashion sweets, we really didn’t want the day to end.
Thank you for allowing us to join your epic British heritage journey Britannical, we will always treasure your heirloom masterpieces.
Merry Christmas everyone with love. I urge you to enter the enchanted world Britannical.
