It seems like finding love in Hollywood isn’t the easiest of tasks, so we’re here to celebrate the wins for these brand-new celeb couples. From Liam Hemsworth’s *potential* new GF to Halsey and Evan Peters making their romance Instagram-verified, we’re rounding up every new match of 2019.
Kaia Gerber and Pete Davidson
If you get a guy a cake, are you dating? Asking for Kaia Gerber, re: her budding romance with the actually kind of hot serial brunette-dater Pete Davidson. The 18-year-old Gerber, a model and Cindy Crawford’s daughter, was spotted on November 16 buying a cake that read “Happy Birthday, Pete!” and taking it to Rockefeller Center, where Davidson appeared on Saturday Night Live. They hit the afterparty together and presumably celebrated his 26th birthday. Dating rumours have swirled for the last few months, and in recent weeks they’ve been spotted holding hands, Gerber’s been seen at his comedy show, and she’s even worn a ‘P’ necklace. It’s probably safe to jump to conclusions.
Demi Lovato and Austin Wilson
Someone check on The Bachelorette’s Mike Johnson… On November 13, singer Demi Lovato let everyone know that she’s leaning hard into cuffing season, debuting her new boo on the ‘gram in a super cute, loved-up photo. Captioning the photo simply with “My 
…” Lovato shared a picture of herself and new BF, Austin Wilson, sharing a kiss. According to BuzzFeed, Wilson has done modelling for several brands, but that’s about all we know about him.
Lovato was last linked to Bachelor alum Johnson.
Halsey and Evan Peters
On October 26, “Bad at Love” singer Halsey posted a pic of her Halloween costume and threw one in of her and her new boo, American Horror Story actor Evan Peters. They also made their red carpet debut at a party celebrating AHS’s one hundredth episode party.
And things have been building to this moment for some time. Six years after Halsey tweeted “Petition for Evan Peters to date me,” they were spotted holding hands and flirting at a Los Angeles theme park in mid-September—and now this! Halsey was most recently linked to British singer, Yungblud, and Peters was previously engaged to actress Emma Roberts.
Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson
Hot girl fall is in full effect as far as Miley Cyrus is concerned. The singer has confirmed her relationship with Aussie singer Cody Simpson after days of the pair being spotted out and about (and making out!) around Los Angeles. On October 4, the couple and longtime friends were photographed (and filmed) picking up acai bowls—alongside some serious tongue action—on a cute morning date. Later that day Cyrus addressed the video and her new relationship on Instagram, sharing photos of the encounter (alongside some LOL-worthy captions) and writing: “This ‘dating’ thing is new to me too. I’ve never been an ‘adult’/ grown ass woman experiencing this…I was in a committed relationship for almost all my teens and early 20s; with the exception of a few breaks, which usually in those times I was working my ass off with not much R&R…and ‘meeting / trusting’ people in my position is really tuff.” Cyrus concluded her post with a strong statement to the haters, saying: “Get used to me dating – this is where I am at! #HotGirlFall.”
Since their relationship went public, the pair have been spotted on each other’s social media accounts sharing breakfast, watching movies and showing off their bedside manner. Cyrus was hospitalized with tonsillitis on October 8, and while live-streaming her hospital room antics, straight up called Simpson her BF on Insta stories. For his part, Simpson showed up with flowers and a guitar to serenade his lady love (bonus points).
Cyrus separated from her husband Liam Hemsworth in August, with the Aussie actor filing for divorce the same month. Before Simpson, Cyrus was in a brief relationship with Kaitlynn Carter.
Noah Centineo and Alexis Ren
Everyone’s internet BF is officially off the market. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star Noah Centineo is reportedly dating model and former Dancing With the Stars contestant Alexis Ren, and, guys, it may have been going on for a while. Rumours about a potential courtship first started swirling all the way back in May, when Centineo was spotted picking up Ren from the airport in Palm Beach, Florida. While some may have written off their relationship as a summer fling, it looks like they’re heading into cuffing season still intact. Since the start of September, sources have spotted the couple around Los Angeles—enjoying dinner with friends on September 25 and strolling the aisles at Whole Foods a day later. Grocery shopping together? We’d say it’s pretty serious.
Liam Payne and Maya Henry

Former One Direction member Liam Payne is a “happy guy” in his new relationship with model Maya Henry. The singer made his relationship status Insta official on September 20, sharing a photo of the couple hugging and laughing and thanking Henry for “keeping the biggest smile on [his] face.”
The former boy-bander was previously in a longterm relationship with singer Cheryl Cole. The two share a two-year-old son, Bear Grey Payne.
Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes
Even though dating rumours have dogged them for a long time, the release of the super steamy Señorita music video in late June kicked really things into high gear. Days later, it was reported that Cabello and her boyfriend Matthew Hussey had split up. Probably not a coincidence. Then came the pics of Cabello and Mendes cuddling and holding hands in LA—but even after that Mendes still denied they were dating when a fan asked.
It’ll be harder for him to say that from now on, since they were just spotted making out (two different times!) in San Francisco, where he was set to perform. Looks like Cabello is following him on tour for now, though it’s yet to be seen if she’ll go to any of the shows in Asia or South America. We definitely wouldn’t be opposed to some more global #relationshipgoals content.
Dua Lipa and Anwar Hadid
“One Kiss” is all it took for the media to confirm the singer’s new romance with Anwar Hadid. The duo were spotted in early July getting cozy in London at the British Summer Time Hyde Park music festival. Lipa recently ended a long-term relationship with model Isaac Carew. Hadid, the younger brother of models Bella and Gigi, was previously in a relationship with actor Nicola Peltz until 2018 and more recently, was spotted kissing Kendall Jenner in June 2018. Lipa and Hadid have not yet confirmed their relationship—but these cuddly pics pretty much solidify their status as a super cute couple.
Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson
We think it’s safe to say that speculation about Delevingne and Benson’s relationship status can *finally* be put to rest. Delevingne posted a video of her and Benson sharing their steamy makeout scene from the film Her Smell, and tagged Benson. Delevingne captioned the image “#PRIDE” and used the rainbow, heart and heart-eye emojis to display her affection for the Pretty Little Liars star, who replied to the post with three heart emojis. Fans showed lots of love for the newly IG-official couple and we’re here for *all* the cute pics to come.
Cassie and Alex Fine
Shortly after her breakup with longtime love Diddy, Cassie (a.k.a. Cassandra Ventura) has found love again with personal trainer Alex Fine (FYI, he trains the dudes of Riverdale!). The singer debuted her new man in a late December 2018 post to Instagram, sharing a photo of the two cuddling up alongside Cassie’s mom in a Christmas themed photo booth and sharing a kiss.
In June, the couple announced that they’re expecting their first child, a daughter.
Cassie was previously in a relationship with rapper Diddy for almost 11 years. The pair ended their relationship in October 2018.
Kiernan Shipka and Charlie Oldman
The Sabrina star might have a new man, and it’s neither one of her cutie costars. It’s Charlie Oldman, who’s a model, musician and son of Oscar-winning actor Gary Oldman. Although neither has confirmed the alleged romance, they were spotted out to dinner in L.A. last month, and the above photo is from a premiere they attended together earlier this week. Emma Roberts and Garrett Hedlund
The rumours have been flying about these two for about a month now, but this new pairing was semi-confirmed today when photos of the two holding hands and kissing landed online. Again, no official confirmation from either party’s people, but those photos are pretty telling.
Channing Tatum and Jessie J
We all knew this was happening, but until today, we didn’t know. Allegedly, they’ve been dating since October, but only today did their relationship become real in the most 2019 way: on Instagram. Tatum posted the above message to wish his love HBD, and although there have been other Instagram happenings that could have suggested these two were an item, this one definitely makes it official.
Zac Efron and Sarah Bro
According to Us Weekly, actor Zac Efron, 31, and Danish Olympic swimmer Sarah Bro, 23, are officially an item. Rumours began when Efron and Bro have been spotted taking in the same sporting events in L.A., first at a hockey game and then, seated next to each other at a UFC fight. The couple has yet to go IG official, but from the looks of it, these two clearly have similar interests. Who knows, maybe their next date could be swimming with wild tiger sharks?
Chris Harrison and Lauren Zima
The Bachelor host is a bachelor no more. We found out about this pairing at that SAG Awards last weekend, when Harrison walked the grey carpet arm-in-arm with the Entertainment Tonight correspondent. Zima’s Insta account is littered with pics of her interviewing Bachelor peeps, so it’s not hard to deduce how these two met.
Rita Ora and Andrew Garfield
This one has not been confirmed by either party’s people, but the two Brits were spotted walking through London together right before Christmas. Garfield is generally pretty private about his relationships, but The Sun snapped a few covert photos of Ora leaving his London apartment, so perhaps we’ll get an official announcement soon?
Rosario Dawson and Cory Booker
The U.S. senator (and good friend of Oprah’s BFF, Gayle) is allegedly dating Dawson. The pair has known each other for years, and earlier this month, they went to see Dear Even Hansen together. People reported that Dawson told Booker she loved him during a cast meet-and-greet. Neither has confirmed the possible relationship, but how fun would it be if he ran for president, got elected and Dawson was the First Lady? We’d trade Trump for a lot less, tbh.
Jim Carrey and Ginger Gonzaga
These two met on the set of Carey’s new show, Kidding, and made their first appearance as a couple at a Showtime Golden Globes party earlier this month. After the awards ceremony, he sweetly told Extra that, “she’s incredible, unbelievable, wicked talent and amazing person.”
Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton
Boynton starred alongside Malek in Bohemian Rhapsody, playing Freddie Mercury’s longtime girlfriend and muse, Mary Austin. Although they’ve allegedly been dating since spring 2018, we didn’t get official confirmation until Malek’s acceptance speech at the Palm Springs International Film Festival’s awards gala. He thanked Boynton, saying, “you have been my ally, my confidant, you are my love.”
