With her hugely successful music career, make-up and fashion lines, it seems fair to wonder if there’s anything Rihanna can’t do. Case in point: she’s launched her own skincare line, Fenty Skin, and we’re READY.

Considering how successful (and incredible) Fenty Beauty products are, the thought of Rihanna launching skincare is super exciting. Here’s what you need to know about the launch, including a first look at the products…

When is Fenty Skin launching?

Fenty Skin will be available to shop at fentyskin.com from the 31st of July at 12am EST/5am UK time. For a select number who signed up for early access, the products will be shoppable

I’ve been working on @fentyskin for over 2 years, perfecting formulas and creating packaging that is kind to our planet!!’ Rihanna wrote in a post on the brand’s Instagram. ‘Formulas that work, and work well with makeup!!!

‘Everything starts with the foundation that is your skin and we all know how obsessed I am with beautiful, healthy skin – so whether you want to wear makeup, or no makeup at all, there’s always glowing skin underneath’.

Rumours of a Rihanna skincare line have been bubbling since early last year, when she filed a trademark application for Fenty Skin with the United States Patents and Trademark Office. This included ‘non-medicated skin care preparations’, ‘non-medicated soaps’, ‘cosmetic preparations for body care’, ‘medicated skin care preparations’ and ‘skincare product accessory, namely, bags for skincare items sold empty and cosmetic bags sold empty’, to name but a few.

The star has also confirmed the line is for all genders, responding to a fan on Twitter with: ‘Whoever told you skincare has a gender, LIED to you!’

The Fenty Skin products

Until the week of the launch, details of the Fenty Skin products had been kept tightly under wrapts, aside from a very brief glimpse in one of the campaign videos. Rihanna has now revealed details of the first three products, the Fenty Skin Start’rs: Total Cleans’r Remove It All Cleanser, Fat Water Pore Refining Toner + Serum, and Hydra Vizor Invisble Moisturizer + SPF.

Total Cleans’r is described on Instagram as ‘a 2-in-1 cleanser and makeup remover that gives you that delicious deep clean you deserve,’ and is both oil free and non comedogenic.

Step two, Fat Water, is an alcohol-free toner/serum hybrid that brightens, smooths and targets the appearance of dark spots and pores. According to Instagram: ‘Its unique texture means you can pour it into your hand to apply. No cotton pads needed = less waste!’

Lastly, there’s your all-important SPF moisturiser, Hydra Vizor, which is designed to protect and brighten your skin. ‘This pink-tinted cream applies invisibly on all skin tones. Plays well with makeup – no piling and zero flashback!’

It certainly seems like Rihanna has thought of everything. Don’t know about you, we’re extremely excited to get our hands on this lot…
