Welcome back to Verô Souza! It’s been almost exactly a year since I last featured her, and I can’t wait for you to see what a difference 12 months (and 5 days!) makes! A 90 Day Business Launch and Build Your Client Base grad (yes, I was lucky enough to be her business coach for her first full year in business), she was able to make $60k (she doesn’t mention it here, but I promise I have her permission to share that number with you!) *and* feel valued, fulfilled, and excited about her work again. When we last spoke with you, you had just launched your business 3 months earlier. Is your business the same, or has anything evolved?
I’m still a brand designer for health and wellness companies and I still offer a 4-Day Branding package. I’m excited to launch today a new offering: Get Your Brand Together!
Let’s talk wins! What have you been most proud of in your business since we last featured you?
– Celebrating my one-year businessversary!
– To have partnered with 30+ health and wellness companies and worked on many projects in this first year in business.
– Having my work published on Forbes, Vogue, and many other publications.
– Getting clearer on what I offer and to whom and why. Donating money to charity from my work on Check-ins and creating a new offer to support all businesses in the health and wellness space.
Have there been any long-term takeaways from our work together?
How important our work on 90-day biz launch was! I always look back to it to make sure my vision and strategy are still aligned with my offerings and marketing.
What’s the best piece of advice you can give to someone transitioning from being a “newbie” business owner into a more seasoned or accomplished business owner?
Such a good question! Always look at your numbers and strategy before making new offerings and business decisions. Review your week, month, and year!
I personally get really excited and creative with new ideas (Michelle knows and is probably nodding right now), but sometimes it just made me busy and overwhelmed. You’ll move forward much more intentionally and powerfully if you simply review, reflect, and implement (and test, test, test).
Is there anything that’s been a game-changer for you when it comes to your business that you can share? We’d love a good resource or a mindset/productivity tip!
The Magic Formula Sheet!!! You have to TM it.
I had this limiting belief that busy = profitable, but the sheet told me a very different story. The numbers don’t lie. Getting really clear on my offerings, time allocation, income, and expenses was a game-changer.
