When you’re an online seller, it’s normal to do things on the go, including learning. Even if you are starting, knowing there is an Amazon FBA podcast you can listen to in your spare time makes a world of difference.
I like to listen to podcasts when I’m walking the dog or working out; it’s a brilliant way to soak up new knowledge whilst on the move. The Amazon seller landscape changes quickly, books can become outdated, whilst a good Amazon podcast is updated weekly.
Regardless of whether you are new to Amazon or have been selling products for a year or two, there is always something new to learn. When you become stagnant, you allow competitors to get ahead of you.
The good news is if you’re strapped for time, there is a wide selection of podcasts to choose from, in this article I’m going to give you a selection of some of my favourites.
I wanted to put together a list of Amazon FBA podcasts that we suitable to both beginners and advanced sellers, let’s get into it.
Amazon FBA Podcasts Suited To Beginners
The Full-Time FBA Show Podcast
Hosted by Stephen and Rebecca Smotherman, this Amazon FBA podcast is easy listening at its finest. Stephen and Rebecca regularly delve into how they operate their FBA business as well as their favourite tips and tricks of the trade. Each episode is valuable, but the information won’t overwhelm you as a new seller. If you enjoy their podcast, you can even join their Facebook page or YouTube channel for more useful content. After listening to one of the Smotherman podcasts, you are sure to feel inspired and enthusiastic.
Seller Round Table
This popular podcast is ideal as a training and coaching tool for sellers who are new to Amazon. Along with the basics of getting set up, the hosts also cover several marketing-related topics that will help you increase your visibility and conversions. Andy Arnott and Amy Wees release a new episode every Tuesday afternoon.
FBA Journey
As online sellers, we all make some mistakes along the way. The FBA Journey podcast is all about learning from the mistakes of other sellers; it should help you get a running start on Amazon. The show is hosted by R.C. Rice who slowly worked her way up the Amazon ladder using trial and error.
My Wife Quit Her Job
The title of this Amazon FBA podcast is quite literal. Steve Chou takes listeners through his wife’s journey of starting a part-time Amazon to quitting her job. Not only can you tune in for some helpful tips, but the website is also packed with bonus information that you can access at any time. This podcast will give you a realistic idea of what it is like to get up and running as an Amazon seller.
If you are new to the world of Amazon, I also recommend you take a look at our eBusiness Boss Private Label Amazon FBA Course. It’s packed with over 8.5 hours of over the shoulder video tutorials.
Amazon FBA Podcasts Suited To Advanced Sellers
The Amazon Seller
When it comes to Amazon Private Label selling, Andy Slamans is a household name. If you want to find out what strategies he has used to achieve six-figure profits, this is a podcast to add to your list. He covers everything from selling products to handling logistics in ways that will reduce your expenses.
The Smart Online Seller
If you love getting tips from sellers who have done it all before, this is the podcast for you. Hosted by Justin Balk, this podcast has a strong focus on marketing but also touches on other topics and strategies that you can implement in your own business. While he does interview successful Amazon sellers regularly, he also shares his own experiences. Even though Justin often covers advanced topics, there is a lot of useful advice for beginners here too.
AM PM Podcast (My Personal Favourite)
Hosted by Manny Coats, this is the perfect podcast for anyone interested in FBA and private label selling. Manny has been an Amazon seller since 2015 and earned over a million dollars in his first year. As an advanced seller, you can learn a lot from his interviews and insights. Manny is the owner of Helium 10; this is the software we use every day within our Amazon Business.
Private Label Movement
Available on Stitcher, the Private Label Movement is another one of my top recommended podcasts for sellers with some experience. Kevin Rizer, a well-known private label seller, is the host, and he openly shares his battles and successes. You can choose from hundreds of episodes, which you can listen to at your leisure. Many of his episodes also feature other seasoned sellers who offer their unique perspectives on making it big on Amazon.
My Amazon Guy
This is my last Amazon FBA podcast pick for advanced sellers. Steven Pope is an Amazon expert who has worked with countless brands. His episodes cover tips and techniques for increasing traffic and conversion rates. He also speaks to other sellers about their unique journeys and where they went wrong. Again, there is no better way to learn than by discovering the pitfalls associated with growing an Amazon business – some of which you may not know about.
Tune In and Upskill
Where podcasts once fell by the wayside, they have once again become a popular way to consume content, particularly amongst those who need to learn on the fly.
Even listening to just one Amazon FBA podcast a week is valuable. Instead, learn one small thing every week than nothing at all.
Plus, your competitors are probably doing everything they can to upskill and find new ways to stand out. Don’t fall behind.
If you want even more ways to learn, I suggest bookmarking my list of Amazon seller forums.
If you are going to sit in traffic, you might as well make it count by listening to a helpful podcast.
Let me know in the comments section below if you have any Amazon podcasts that should have made the list!
