What We Baked This Month

We recently held a fall baking day at home, inspired by our visit to Apple Hill last month. On the menu were gluten free Apple Pie Bars, Apple Cider Quinoa Granola, Apple Butter, and super easy Apple Cider Donuts (for these, we substituted the flour with a gluten free flour blend, milk with almond milk, and butter with Earth Balance Vegan Butter). A delicious aroma of baked apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg filled the house as we worked in the kitchen together, Clementine included. I have collected a wide range of baking and serving dishes over the years. It seems after each holiday season I end up with a few more. But all get put to good use, especially during this time of year as we gather together with friends and family.

Patterned Baking Dishes

This beautiful set of baking dishes comes in two sizes–the larger one is great for casseroles or lasagnas, while the smaller size is great for apple or pumpkin bread.

Rattan Glass Serveware

These casserole dishes transition seamlessly from the oven to your table by simply slipping on the rattan sleeve (find another option with more sizes available here).

Floral Pie Dish

Scalloped edges and painted florals come together in this pretty pie dish, perfect for seasonal favorites, from apple crisp to pumpkin pie.
