Let’s be honest, we just don’t know what Christmas will look like this year. But what we do know is where to buy the Christmas jumpers to get you into the festive spirit. Keep scrolling.
What day is Christmas Jumper Day 2020?
Save The Children’s Christmas Jumper Day is back on 11th December 2020. You can sign up for a fundraiser kit, or simply wear a jumper, donate £2 to the cause and spread the word on social media. The more involved, the better.
Novelty Christmas jumpers
That said, there’s plenty of room for novelty knits (if you can’t be silly at Christmas, when can you?), so I’ve rounded up some outrageous Christmas jumpers for you too. There are sausage dogs, snowmen, gingerbread men and Disney jumpers galore for you.
Don’t miss out on some seriously epic slogan jumpers and cardigans, including Christmas songs and Beyonce puns.
Icon Christmas jumper, £28 from Icon
Icon has launched its own version of Christmas jumpers to combat waste. All three of the jumpers within the range are completely reversible; with one side featuring a Christmas design for when you’re feeling festive, and plain fabric on the other side for when the Christmas season ends – making it the perfect winter staple.
Frosty Fairisle Jumper, £44.25 at White Stuff
If you’re looking for a more subtle take on novelty jumpers, this is it.
H&M+ Jacquard-knit jumper, £24.99 at H&M
This doubles up as a great après-ski outfit too.
Sequin Multi Christmas Tree Jumper, £15 at Matalan
Add a little sparkle to your outfit with this metallic jumper, a steal at just £15.
Women’s Christmas Jumper, £30 at next
How chic is this grey jumper with its scattering of glitter reindeer? Wear it with a faux leather skirt for a cute Boxing Day outfit.
Women’s Christmas Jumper, £34 at next
The Christmas jumper offering at next is so good I had to include more than one. This rose gold knit is giving me all the 80s vibes.
If the thought of wearing festive knitwear brings you out in hives, fear not – festive knits can actually be stylish. You’ll find plenty of chic styles in my edit, which will look amazing worn with straight leg jeans or velvet trousers if you want to dress up.
Christmas jumpers Primark
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly option, no one does festive jumpers quite like Primark. I personally love shopping in the men’s section, as I find the quality is slightly better and I like the oversized look. Plus they don’t sell out as fast.
This season Primark has brought out matching jumpers for the whole family, including some of their CARE range, which is made from recycled materials, including 100% cotton.
Scroll down to shop my edit of the best festive jumpers on the high street, from Disney Christmas jumpers to Fairisle knits, festive Breton tops to slogan sweatshirts and everything in between.
