For the first few days we were in California, we all woke up at before 5am. We decided to embrace our internal east coast alarm clocks and enjoy a sunrise one morning down by the water. I packed some of our light, yet warm layers that I bring out each year as the seasons change. Patagonia’s fleece will always have a place in my closet- it’s an essential fall item in my book, and one I wear happily over just about anything- dresses, jeans, skirts and more. I bought C this little teddy coat that was too sweet to miss. Even one of Thomas’s most-worn fall jackets is this fleece. Whether I’m heading out for a day spent outdoors, or I want something casual and easy to throw over whatever I’m wearing, I’ll reach for one of my favorite fleece jackets, like this one, this one and this one. I also recently found a few great budget friendly ones here, here and here- all under $40.
