Editor’s Review: Inglesina Quid Stroller

We’re strolling through fall with the beautiful new Quid stroller by Inglesina! Inglesina is a premium Italian baby gear rand that has been making high-quality products since 1963. While you may only recognize them for their innovative Fast Table Chair, Inglesina’s origins are in strollers and the company has been honoured with dozens of awards and accolades in their nearly 60-year history. We aren’t surprised, it is clear that the company is focused on the wellness of your child, practically for caregivers and timeless Italian style. Their newest compact stroller – the Quid – is sure to be a winner for your family!

Weighing only 13lbs, the Inglesina Quid is the perfect buggy for families on the go. Easily maneuver city streets, local neighbourhoods, scenic paths or even airline travel with this super-compact design that doesn’t compromise! Thanks to padded cushions, a multi-position recline and adjustable leg rest, it’s a great solution, offering comfort for both babies (3 months and older) and kids up to 50 lbs.

As a mom of both a preschooler and a toddler, this combination makes the Quid the ideal stroller to keep in my trunk; it’s always ready whether I’m running errands with my daughter or doing a little shopping with my son; this stroller has become a favourite.

In addition to a wide, comfortable seat the Quid offers a fully reclining backrest perfect for napping on the go. There’s no fuss with the seat recline with an easy drawstring for adjusting for just the right position. Roll-up ventilation window and peek-a-boo window for added visibility is great to look in on a sleeping baby.

Just look how happy (and safe) Liam looks, clipped in snuggly with a 5-point harness and extra soft shoulder restraints. The leg rest is easy to adjust, too, to make sure your little one is super comfy in all seat positions.

One of my favourite features of the buggy is the extra-large extendable hood with anti-UV treated fabric. It is very hard to find a compact stroller with a large enough canopy to actually provide adequate shade, especially in a recline; this stroller delivers! My son does not like hats or sunglasses, so the huge canopy is a big win; it completely shields his face so he can ride in comfort even on sunny days. The storage basket is a fairly generous size too, you can easily fit a diaper bag, purse or backpack.

Though we found it best suited for smooth walking surfaces, the stroller is still very functional on light gravel or short grass. Little passengers enjoy a smooth ride across thanks to sturdy wheels with multiple suspension systems. Swivel, lockable front wheels and one-foot brake add to the ease and functionality.

If you weren’t already impressed, check out the incredibly compact fold (just 18.3” x 23″ x 6.8”); it’s small enough for an airline overhead compartment or, in my case, an electric car trunk. It is also super easy to carry with a thoughtful handle.

Everything about this stroller is easy and fuss-free including Quid’s folding mechanism. No need to wrestle with this stroller thanks to handlebar levers that allow for smooth fold and one-handed open.

Perfect for kids, big and small, the Inglesina Quid is now available in 4 beautiful colours Onyx Black, College Navy, Stormy Gray (the colour you see here) and Vespa Blue. While all the colour options are lovely, the Stormy Gray is our top pick for those looking for unique style; I’ve never seen another stroller in this shade! The Quid has quickly become my go-to amongst a growing collection of buggies, for its compact size, easy to access basket and incredibly large canopy size. It is also the ideal option for me personally, because (unlike a lot of strollers on the market) it can comfortably, with ample headroom, accommodate a child up to 50 lbs!
